As of today, all Texans over age 16 are eligible for a coronavirus vaccine. State health officials are still asking providers to prioritize people age 80 and older. The Texas Department of State Health Services is also reminding 16 and 17-year-olds that the Pfizer vaccine is the only one approved for people their age so far. The CDC says more than ten-million Texans have received at least one shot since vaccinations started in December under President Trump.
