Bexar County Jail Passes State Inspection

The Bexar County sheriff's office is announcing that the county jail has passed its annual state inspection. The Texas Commission on Jail Standards started the unannounced inspection on Monday of this week and continued it for a couple of days. The sheriff's office released results of the inspection on Thursday. A few areas of the Bexar County Adult Detention Center needed improvement, and the sheriff's office says the problems are being taken care of. Sheriff Javier Salazar thanked the jail staff for their hard work.
