The Border Patrol is running into more large groups of illegal immigrants in south Texas. Agents say they encountered three groups of more than 100 over the weekend near Havana, La Joya and Hidalgo. Nearly 300 of those people were family members and unaccompanied children. They were from El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico and Belize. Officials say Rio Grande Valley agents have encountered 25 groups of more than 100 illegals trying to enter the U.S. since the beginning of the year.
