Local bars and pubs have been preparing for St. Patrick's Day festivities today. It's one of the busiest days of the year for bars, usually adding up to a 250-million-dollar bar tab nationwide. Last year it came just two-days before Gov. Gregg Abbott ordered the closure of Texas bars and restaurants because of the pandemic. Abbott recently allowed all Texas businesses to reopen at 100-percent capacity, but there's still a question of how St. Paddy's will look this year. Bar owners are preparing for lots of customers. Whether or not house rules require a mask will depend on where you do your drinking.
