The Public Utility Commission of Texas has a new appointee to keep an eye on the Electric Reliability Council of Texas. The PUC named Adrianne Brandt the new Director of ERCOT Accountability on Thursday. Brandt will take charge of enhancing the PUC's oversight of ERCOT, the state's electric grid operator and market manager. Brandt started her career as an Army intelligence analyst, and has held analyst positions at Dell, the PUC, Austin Energy, and CPS Energy in San Antonio.
