Texas Mask Mandate Ends

Texas' mask mandate ends today and businesses will be allowed to operate at 100% capacity.

Governor Greg Abbott's executive order also prohibits local governments from enforcing their own mask requirements.

Masks can still be required at private businesses and federal property. While people can't be fined for not wearing a mask inside businesses, they can still be charged with trespassing if they refuse an order to leave.
