Texas Senator John Cornyn says the president's coronavirus relief plan is far too excessive and needs to be cut back. Republican lawmakers are joining together to slow the approval of the next relief bill. Senator Cornyn says only 8% of the total cost is directly related to coronavirus relief. There is opposition to the bill's spending for climate justice, Planned Parenthood, and labor unions, which Cornyn calls a shameful waste of taxpayer dollars.
