Texas Restaurants Cheer Easing Of Pandemic Orders

Restaurant owners in Texas are cheering the end of the state's coronavirus mandates. Kelsey Erickson-Streufert with the Texas Restaurant Association says the decision on whether to mandate masks is now up to owners. She says there's some concern about confrontations with customers who won't want to wear a mask. The best news for restaurants will be the end of occupancy limits. Most are now operating at 75% capacity. The lack of customers has forced 11,000 restaurants to permanently close since the pandemic started.
