The accused Santa Fe school shooter will stay in the maximum security North Texas State Hospital for another year. Dimitrios Pagourtzis is accused of killing two students and eight teachers at Santa Fe High School in May 2018. A panel of three mental health experts found Pagourtzis incompetent to stand trial in November 2019. Doctors told the court Pargourtzis's competency hasn't been restored, and a judge is expected to sign an order for him to stay in the mental hospital. Survivors and victims' families are unhappy with the decision.
