The head of the Texas power grid will face tough questions this week before state legislative hearings. Bill Magness, CEO of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, says the weatherization of power plants will be priority one. But Magness will defend the rolling outages that left Texans in the dark. If not for those, he says the grid could have been knocked out for months. The speaker of the Texas House asked two committees to hold joint hearings as a way to review the outages. That will happen Thursday.
