Damage from the winter storm in Texas could reach around $50 billion. AccuWeather forecasters say that would cover damage to businesses, homes, storm cleanup and lost wages. They say their estimate shows the historic magnitude and just how much of a life-threatening crisis the storm has been. They add this has been the worst storm in the state since December of 1989.
