Firefighters had difficulties battling a large apartment fire in the Stone Oak area this afternoon. Frozen fire hydrants forced firefighters to shuttle in water as 50 residents were evacuated into the cold. The blaze quickly spread through the complex in the 4000 block of TPC Parkway.
No injuries are reported.
