CPS Energy is asking for patience as it works to restore power in San Antonio. The utility says it understands outages are frustrating, but promised crews are going as fast as possible. CPS Energy noted workers are being careful on the roads due to the hazardous conditions.
“CPS Energy is absolutely sorry this is happening and the impact to members of our community experiencing outages,” President Paula Gold-Williams said. “We understand it’s an inconvenience.”
In addition to unscheduled outages, the city has also been involved in rolling blackouts that are taking place throughout the state of Texas.
