Officials are identifying a police officer who was killed in traffic accident on Broadway Street early Thursday morning. Police say 27-year-old Officer Matthew Krupa was killed in the rollover crash after his Jeep and a Dodge Charger collided on Broadway at Cheever. The other driver was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. Krupa worked for the North East ISD and was driving to work for his second day on the job when the crash happened.
