Austin ISD Schools Go Back To Remote Learning

Austin ISD district officials say all schools will revert to remote learning today. Two-weeks ago, the district announced plans for four asynchronous days, when all students will learn remotely. The Texas Education Agency says remote asynchronous instruction doesn't require teaching to be done in real time, so teachers can provide pre-recorded lessons or other online techniques. Today is the first of the four asynchronous days. The others are February 26th, March 6th, and April 9th.
