A Democratic congressman from Texas says President Joe Biden's plan to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour isn't a good idea. Biden intends to include the hike in a massive pandemic relief bill, more than doubling the current rate of seven-dollars and 25-cents. Congressman Henry Cuellar says businesses that have been hit hard by the pandemic can't afford this mandatory pay hike. Cuellar says the first increase in the federal minimum wage since 2009 should be phased in gradually, with aid to businesses.
