Senator Ted Cruz is letting his Texas flag fly, this time in the form of a mask he wore to the inauguration of Joe Biden on Wednesday. The Texas Republican's mask displayed the familiar image of the "Come and Take It" flag, which flew during the Battle of Gonzales in the Texas Revolution. The flag has since been used as a symbol of defiance. Cruz also used the "Come and Take It" imagery to resist government officials urging or requiring limited Thanksgiving celebrations during the pandemic.
