Texas Governor Greg Abbott is pushing Walgreens and CVS to speed up their coronavirus vaccination rates. The governor told reporters today the pharmacies have inoculated about 125-thousand people at nursing homes and long-term care facilities but need to get quicker. The governor has praised hospitals for their vaccine rollouts including Houston's Methodist Hospital System. Abbott did ask the federal government to send more COVID shot doses to the states so the pandemic can be ended even sooner. Over a million Texans have been inoculated against the virus.
