National Rifle Association Plans To Relocate To Texas

The National Rifle Association may relocate to Texas after filing for Chapter Eleven bankruptcy. It had been operating as a New York-registered nonprofit even though it's physically based in Fairfax, Virginia. This comes after New York State Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit to dissolve the NRA, accusing executives of using millions of company dollars for luxury travel and dining. The association fired back with their own suit saying the state has a "toxic political environment" and claims Governor Andrew Cuomo is trying to blacklist them. James says the state is reviewing the bankruptcy filing but they won't allow the NRA to use the tactic as a way to avoid accountability.
