The Texas House may allow members to vote virtually. Proposed rules for this year's legislative session involve letting representatives vote on secured laptops in the House gallery and adjoining rooms by the House floor. Members can also vote at their desks. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said earlier this week House and Senate members needed to be at their desks to vote.
