Northside ISD Urges Virtual-Only Learning Because Of Ongoing Pandemic

Northside ISD is urging parents to consider remote learning for their kids through the end of this month. Superintendent Brian Woods posted a video on social media and sent a letter to parents to explain his request, which is in response to the recent surge in coronavirus cases. Woods said the district isn't closing schools or making virtual learning mandatory because the state requires them to offer in-person instruction, and links funding to that mandate.
