A University of Texas study is finding the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine neutralized the new variant of the coronavirus. Researchers say they studied people who had been given the vaccine and then looked at their blood. They say the study is somewhat limited however, as it does not look at the full set of mutations found in the variants that spread faster than the original virus. The study has not yet been officially reviewed.
