Bexar County Virus Risk Level Bumped Up To 'Severe'

Bexar County health officials are raising the county's coronavirus risk level to severe. San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff announced the decision on Monday night. On the city's five-step scale that indicates the threat level, "severe" is the second-highest level below "critical." Nirenberg reported that the county's positivity rate was just over 19-percent, up nearly five percentage points from last week.
