The coronavirus relief bill passed by Congress features tax breaks for beer brewers. Charles Valhonrat, head of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, says the industry would benefit from the breaks, along with PPP loans. He says the brewing industry has been hit hard by the pandemic in Texas, where breweries were treated as bars and had to shut down. Valhonrat says the tax savings will enable hiring and even keep the price of a six-pack stable.
