The NBA is postponing its first game of the new season due to COVID-19. Wednesday's Rockets-Thunder game was set to be played in Houston but was called off after three Rockets players returned positive or inconclusive tests. Houston would not have had enough players to play. In addition, star James Harden is unavailable due to a violation of health and safety protocols after he was recently seen partying maskless. The game was supposed to be the season opener for both teams after the NBA opened play on Tuesday.
