Bexar County Issues Emergency Alert As Coronavirus Cases Surge

Bexar County officials are urging residents to do what they can to slow the spread of the pandemic. The county's Office of Emergency Management issued an emergency alert on Tuesday night shortly after city and county officials reported more than 1,700 new cases, a one-day record. The alert strongly advised local residents to stay home, avoid non-essential outings, and wear masks as the holiday weekends approach.
