Texas School Employee Sentenced In Varsity Blues Case

A former employee of a school district in Houston, Texas is avoiding prison time in her sentence in the college admissions fraud case. Niki Williams admits that she accepted bribes to allow a co-conspirator to secretly take college entrance exams for others. Williams then returned the falsified exams for scoring by the ACT and College Board. Williams has been sentenced to one year of probation and forfeiture of more than 12-thousand-dollars.
