Customs and Border Protection agents perform a major drug confiscation at a Rio Grande Valley Port of Entry. A CBP news release this week says agents at the Port of Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas made the discovery of more than six-hundred-50-packages of methamphetamine weighing over 18-hundred-50-pounds on December 19th. The drugs with a calculated street value of some 37-million-dollars were found inside the flooring of a semi trailer hauling a load of tomatoes.
