Baptist Health System in San Antonio is expected to receive 3,900 doses of the coronavirus vaccine at its five hospitals this week. The system's frontline staff members will start to be injected with the vaccine today. Vaccinating the staff is intended to provide an extra layer of protection for both health care providers and their patients amid a rising number of coronavirus cases in the San Antonio area.
