The head of Metro Health says classroom teaching is "not recommended" in San Antonio and Bexar County schools as coronavirus cases rise. Medical Director Dr. Junda Woo issued the amended health directive on Tuesday. The update applies to all local public and private schools, from pre-K through university level. Woo said data indicates schools aren't as risky as they were thought to be at the beginning of the pandemic, but there's no point in taking chances.
