Wolff: Bars Not Serving Food Will Have To Close As Positivity Rate Rises

Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff says the county's positivity rate for coronavirus is prompting him to close the bars again. Since the positivity rate is more than ten-percent for the second week in a row, Wolff says he's opting out of Gov. Greg Abbott's plan to reopen bars at limited capacity. He announced on Monday that the "relatively few" bars in the county that don't serve food will have to shut down on Thursday. They can remain open if they apply for a food permit or enter into a contract with a vendor that serves food.
