Longhorns Pause Football Activities After Positive COVID-19 Tests

The Texas Longhorns football team is inactive for the time being after several players and staffers test positive for COVID-19. University athletics officials announced yesterday that the three student players and two team staffers who tested positive Sunday had tested negative on Friday. All football activities are on pause. More tests will happen Monday and Tuesday. For the moment, the Longhorns game versus Kansas in Lawrence this coming Saturday is still a go.
