Bexar County's first virtual civil jury trial concluded on Thursday, and there may be more ahead. The jurors, attorneys, and Judge Angelica Jimenez participated remotely via Zoom in the trial in the 408th District Court. A moratorium on in-person jury trials has been in effect in the county since March because of the coronavirus pandemic. The moratorium expires at the end of the month but may be extended.
