A federal judge says a lawsuit that seeks to strike down a Texas law that limits drone photography can proceed. The 2013 law forbids drone photography of private property or persons on private property. Two journalism organizations and a reporter claim the law places unconstitutional burdens on the act of shooting video and photos for news purposes. The judge on Monday rejected a request by state officials to dismiss the lawsuit.
