Metro Health is urging residents in the City of San Antonio and Bexar County to avoid inside gatherings as cases continue to rise throughout the area.
Officials reported 1,117 cases tonight, bringing the overall total number of cases since the pandemic began to 81,174. The death toll remained unchanged at 1,357.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg said hospitalizations are continuing to increase with 587 patients now hospitalized. 182 are in ICU with 99 on ventilators.
