Tim Hardaway is returning to the Mavericks. The sharpshooting guard has exercised his $19 million player option for the upcoming season. ESPN also reports the Mavs have signed non-drafted Baylor center Freddie Gillespie. The Houston Chronicle reports the Rockets will likely make an attempt to re-sign veteran big man Jeff Gordon when the free agency period begins today.
