Pfizer Vaccine Could Start Being Given In Weeks

Pfizer and German partner BioNTech say their COVID-19 vaccine could start being deployed in a matter of weeks. The companies are applying today for emergency use authorization from the F-D-A. If granted, government officials expect to inoculate about 20-million people in December using both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The first to get the vaccine will be people who are at high risk. The government says it hopes to have 25 to 30 million more vaccines available in January.
