Wolff Says Bexar County Bars May Close Again If COVID Numbers Don't Improve

Bars in Bexar County may close again as soon as early December if the coronavirus positivity rate doesn't calm down. The COVID-19 Community Response Coalition on Tuesday recommended the closures if the county's positivity rate hits ten-percent for two straight weeks. As of Monday, the rate reached nine-point-four-percent. County officials say Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff will follow the agency's recommendations. The bars reopened last month after being shut down since springtime.
