Tim Duncan won't be returning to the Spurs as a full-time assistant coach this season. The 44-year-old five-time NBA Champ joined Gregg Popovich's staff last summer, but didn't go to Orlando with the team as they finished the regular season in the NBA bubble. Spurs officials say Duncan stayed in San Antonio to help LaMarcus Aldridge recover from shoulder surgery. Duncan was the acting head coach in two games last season. Popovich was ejected from one of the games and was absent from the other because of a personal matter.
