Former Houston Astros GM Jeff Luhnow is suing team owner Jim Crane claiming he was made a scapegoat over the sign-stealing organization. The suit claims Crane made a deal with MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred to get rid of Luhnow while also promising he didn't know anything about the sign-stealing. Luhnow's attorneys claim Manfred did not look at thousands of text messages involving another member of management which exonerates Luhnow from any responsibility. He's hoping for over 31-million-dollars from a contract extension signed before his firing plus other benefits.
