Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen says her department will count mail-in ballots they received by Wednesday. Callanen announced in a press conference that state law requires the counting of ballots received by 5 p.m., if they were postmarked by Election Day. She said she was expecting the delivery of about a thousand ballots on Wednesday. That won't be enough to change the results of any election in the county. Callanen says the final count of the mail-in ballots should be finished by this afternoon.
