Temporary fencing has gone up around the Alamo as a security precaution on Election Day.
According to Alamo officials, the fencing will stay up along the perimeter of the site through the end of the week.
“Access to the Alamo will remain free and open during normal operating hours, and Alamo Plaza will remain accessible at all times,” officials stated in a tweet.
