Bexar County election officials say more county residents have already voted in the 2020 election than the total 2016 turnout. As of noon on Thursday, more than 608,000 ballots had been cast in Bexar County. The election department says the 2016 total was just shy of 599,000. This year's turnout so far represents slightly more than half of the county's registered voters.
