Legendary country music singer Jerry Jeff Walker who wrote "Mr. Bojangles," has died at the age of 78. Walker was born in New York in 1942 as Ronald Clyde Crosby and became a fixture in the Austin music scene. He's considered one of the founding fathers of modern country music and recorded 36 albums in his career. He's known for the songs "Gettin' By," "Sangria Wine," and "Up Against the Wall, Redneck Mother." He died after battling throat cancer for three years.
