Governor Greg Abbott's campaign is increasing its financial support for down-ballot Republican candidates ahead of next month's elections. The campaign announced a "mid-seven-figure" total expenditure to defend the GOP majority in the state legislature and to support Republican judges farther down the ballot. The governor's campaign outlay will support Republicans in two-dozen House races and fund a statewide TV and radio ad blitz about the judges.
