The Bexar County Elections Office is reporting robust turnout at the polls on the first day of early voting, but no record. More than 33,000 voters cast ballots on Tuesday, falling short of the 34,000 who turned out for the first day of early voting in 2018. Bexar County residents had to wait a few hours to vote at some of the county's 48 early polling sites. County Elections Administrator Jacquelyn Callanen says her department received no complaints from voters about problems with the voting process.
