George Springer homered twice and drove in three as the Astros beat the Athletics 5-2 in Game Two of their AL Division Series in Los Angeles. Martin Maldonado also went deep for Houston, which takes a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five set. Framber Valdez tossed seven innings of two-run ball for the win. Ryan Pressly closed it out for his first save. Khris Davis and Chad Pinder homered for the A's. Sean Manaea suffered the loss. Game Three is Wednesday.
