The University of Texas is reporting a slight drop in enrollment for the fall semester, but one of its biggest freshman classes ever. University officials reported that overall enrollment is down just over 1% from last year, but the freshman class is up more than 3%. This is despite the coronavirus pandemic, when most classes are online and many students choose to live off-campus. The university lost more than 900 international students, which officials attribute to pandemic-related travel restrictions.
