Senator John Cornyn says the Senate should take up President Donald Trump's nominee to replace the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The Texas Republican pointed out on Monday that the circumstances are different from 2016, when the GOP blocked President Barack Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland to the high court. Cornyn notes Obama wasn't up for reelection, and he and the Senate majority were of different parties. Neither situation is the same today.
