Authorities say several boats sank during the "Trump Boat Parade" on Lake Travis today. The Travis County Sheriff's Office says they had "many" distress calls from boats along the route starting shortly after noon.
Officials say there were so many boats on the lake at once, it caused rough waters, leading to some boats taking on water. It's unclear at this point how many boats sank. There were no reports of any injuries.
Those taking part in the boat parade say they wanted to show their support for the President and said the large turnout showed the amount of support he has in Texas.
